Authentication and Database — Supabase

We use Supabase for account authentication and secure data storage. Supabase processes account information and gameplay data on our behalf.

Purchases — RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage and validate in-app purchases across the App Store and Google Play. RevenueCat processes purchase and transaction identifiers to credit virtual currency to your account.

All in-app purchases are processed exclusively by Apple or Google. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

File Storage & Delivery — Backblaze B2 / Cloudflare

Game assets (such as avatar images) and certain static pages may be stored using Backblaze B2 cloud storage and delivered through Cloudflare's network. This infrastructure does not process any personal data about you.

Transactional Email — Resend

If you link an email address to your account, we use Resend to deliver account-related emails, such as confirming your email address. Resend processes your email address solely to deliver these messages.

Support Email — Zoho Mail

Messages you send to our support address are handled through Zoho Mail. We do not send marketing email without your consent.

Bot Protection — Cloudflare Turnstile

We may use Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated abuse of account creation. Turnstile may process limited technical and device information to verify that a request is coming from a real user.

Advertising — Google AdMob

Some Games may offer optional rewarded video ads, served through Google AdMob, in exchange for in-game virtual currency. AdMob processes your device's advertising identifier and information about the ads you've been served (such as whether an ad was completed) to serve and verify these ads, even when ad personalization is turned off.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data under GDPR

We process your Personal Data based on: your consent; the necessity of processing to perform our agreement with you; compliance with a legal obligation; or our legitimate interests, provided those interests do not override your rights.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your Personal Data; object to certain processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. Trapd

Trapd is a daily trivia game. In addition to the practices described above, the following applies specifically to Trapd:

Anonymous and Linked Accounts

When you first open Trapd, the App automatically creates an anonymous account tied to your device — no name, email, or other identifying information is required or collected at this stage. If you choose to save your progress by linking an email address and password, that information becomes associated with your existing account, not a new one.

Personal Data We Collect

• Email address (only if you choose to link your account)
• Username (chosen by you; may be changed at any time)
• Region (a U.S. state, optional — used only to power the regional leaderboard)
• Gameplay data — your daily streak, quiz responses and accuracy, hint usage, and friends list
• Avatar selections and purchase history
• Purchase and transaction identifiers for in-app purchases, provided to us by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat
• Device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, advertising ID on Android) and ad interaction data — only if you watch a rewarded video ad, via Google AdMob
• Usage Data

We do not request access to your device's camera, photo library, contacts, or location.

Visibility to Other Users

Your username and avatar are visible to other users through friends and leaderboard features. Your email address is never shown to other users.

Retention

If you delete your account from within the App, your account data — including your email address if linked, username, gameplay data, and purchase history — is permanently and immediately deleted from our active systems. This action cannot be undone.
